Betting Terms

The following betting terms and conditions govern the placement, acceptance, and settlement of all bets concluded via the Betkick platform. They supplement our General Terms and Conditions (GTC) and are binding for all users. We ask you to carefully review these rules to ensure a transparent and fair betting environment.

1. General Betting Terms

Unless otherwise specified in the betting offer or in the specific sports rules, the result at the end of the regular playing time or full time is decisive for the evaluation of bets. The “Regular Time” is defined by the official rules of the competent association. In football, for example, full time is 90 minutes plus injury time. If a different playing duration is officially determined before the start of the event, this applies as the official rule. Extra time is excluded, unless explicitly stated otherwise. Exceptions generally include basketball, American football, ice hockey, and baseball, where the result, unless otherwise specified, counts including overtime.

All placed bets are irrevocable and cannot be withdrawn. It is the customer’s responsibility to carefully check every bet before confirmation. Betkick reserves the right to refuse the acceptance of a bet or individual selections within a bet for any reason.

If a bet is declared void, the stake is refunded and the odds are set to 1.00. Betkick reserves the right to declare a bet wholly or partially void if obvious errors such as incorrect fixture listings, typos, or erroneous odds led to the placement or acceptance of the bet.

Single bets are permitted for all events, unless otherwise specified. The maximum number of selections in a betting slip is 30. Bets where the selections influence each other are not allowed in single or combination bets. Should such a bet be accepted by mistake, we reserve the right to declare it void. This does not apply to the Bet Builder offer.

Odds may change at any time. However, all bets are settled at the odds that were valid at the time of placement. The minimum stake is €0.20, unless otherwise specified. For combination bets on events with different profit margins, the lowest margin applies. Bets that exceed the maximum winning limits are reduced to the maximum allowable limit.

Betkick refunds stakes on participants who do not start, unless the respective sports rules provide otherwise. The Dead Heat rule applies when an event has multiple winners; in this case, the odds are split proportionally to the number of winners.

Bets on events in which the customer is directly involved (such as a player, coach, referee) are not permitted. In case of suspicion of a violation, we reserve the right to cancel the bets.

In Live Betting (Live Wetten), we reserve the right to cancel bets if there is a justified suspicion that they were placed after the result was already known or a participant gained a material advantage (for example, through a goal scored). If confirmation of the result of a specific betting offer is not possible, all bets are void, unless the evaluation has already taken place.

In the event of the interruption of sporting events (Winner or Outright bets), we reserve the right to evaluate the markets based on the official ranking or the official champion of the respective governing body, regardless of remaining games. In the absence of an official statement, bets are cancelled. Already evaluated bets remain valid. In the event of pending appeals or court decisions, we suspend the evaluation of open bets.

Betkick is not liable for errors related to bets or placed bets that are based on erroneous odds, handicaps, totals, Cash Out amounts, erroneous acceptance of bets on closed markets, incorrect settlements, payouts, or malfunctions of random number generators or payout tables.

If an obvious error is detected during Live Betting or after the start of the event, bets remain valid and are evaluated based on the corrected Betkick odds. If an obvious error is recognized before the event, the bet is cancelled and the customer is informed by email.

In the case of incorrect results, series, handicaps, or totals, open bets remain valid and the markets are evaluated based on the corrected odds. Exceptions: If a corrected odd is lower than 1.01, the bets are void. Bets that were placed after the result was already known are void.

If there is sufficient time before the start of the event, we endeavor to contact the customer and can, at our sole discretion, grant the possibility of cancelling the bet.

If incorrect participants (player or team) are named in a market, all bets on them are void. This is at the sole discretion of Betkick.

If a Pre-Event bet is accepted by mistake after the start of a game (late bets):

  • If the market allows Live Betting, the bets are evaluated based on the revised odd valid at the time of placement. If the revised odd is lower than 1.01, the bets are void, unless the result is already known.
  • If the market does not allow Live Betting, the bet remains valid as long as the selected participant has not gained a material advantage. In case of gaining a material advantage, we reserve the right to cancel the bet. Bets whose result is already known are void.

In the event of an obvious error detected during or after Live Betting, the Cash Out cannot be paid out. If the Cash Out was accepted erroneously, it is declared void.

For the evaluation of bets, the statistics of the official sports association are used. If these are not available or are demonstrably incorrect, settlement is carried out according to Betkick statistics or official Betkick data sources.

Delayed or postponed events that are not completed on the same day as they were originally scheduled are considered void and stakes are refunded. This does not apply to tennis, except if the event is not resumed or completed by the end of the tournament.

Betkick reserves the right to declare bets void if the venue or conditions for the event change radically (for example, change of playing duration).

If it is found that a person uses multiple betting accounts and/or acts in collusion with other persons to circumvent maximum payouts, we reserve the right to withhold the resulting winnings.

Multiple bets with identical selections placed by one customer can be treated as a single bet. In this case, all bets except the first bet are void. Circumventing stake or winning limits is not allowed by using a banker selection.

If a series of bets with identical or very similar selections are placed by different customers within a short period of time, we reserve the right to declare all such bets void.

Bets on events offered as 3×3, 4×4, etc., refer exclusively to the regular playing time without overtime.

Winnings are credited to the customer account after the final result has been confirmed. Later changes to the result, such as disciplinary proceedings or court decisions, do not affect the settlement. However, we reserve the right to withhold payments if investigations are conducted due to suspicion of criminal activities that could have influenced the result.

2. Rules and Guidelines for Bet Types

Fictitious Matches (Fantasy)

Predict the result of a fictitious match between two teams/players who are only set up for betting purposes in a round or a match. The team/player with the most goals/points is considered the winner. In case of a tie, the result is a draw. If one of the two actual rounds/matches is not completed, all bets are void.

Next Team to Score a Goal/Team to Score the First Goal

Bets on the team that scores first. The “Draw” option is available in case no goal is scored. If the game is interrupted after a goal has already been scored, all bets remain valid.

Group Bets

Bets on which participant of a group achieves the highest final position or the best result. All betting offers are only valid for participants who take part in the game.

H2H Bets (Head-To-Head)

Bets on which of two participants achieves the better result/ranking/points. Both participants must start for the bets to be valid, and at least one must conclude with an official result. Otherwise, all bets are settled at odds of 1.00. The same rules apply to Triplehead (H3H), where three participants compete against each other.

Half-Time Bets

Bets on the result at half-time remain valid, even if the game is later interrupted.

Half-Time/Full-Time Bets

Predict both the half-time and the full-time result of a game.

Handicap Bets

Bets on the result of a game where a handicap has been granted. If Handicap Bets are offered without a draw and the result is a draw, all bets are settled at odds of 1.00.

Total Points Handicap

Bets on which team achieves the most points at the end of the season, including the chosen handicap.

Examples of Handicap Selections

The evaluations depend on whether the selected team receives an advantage (positive handicap) or gives an advantage (negative handicap). For a handicap of 0, bets are evaluated as void in case of a draw. For Fractional Handicaps such as 0, 0.5 (0.25), the stake is divided and settled either half as won or lost, or half refunded.

Total Goals/Half-Time Total Goals/Team Goals

If a game is interrupted, but the highest available number of goals for selection has already been exceeded, bets remain valid. Otherwise, bets are settled at odds of 1.00.

Match Bets/1X2

Bets on the result of a game after the completion of the regular full time, unless otherwise specified.

Match Bets/12

Bets on the result of a game, including overtime and penalty shootouts.

Half with Most Goals

Bets on which half the most goals are scored in. The “Draw” selection applies if the same number of goals is scored in both halves.

Match with Most Goals

Bets on which of the offered games the most goals/points are scored in. In case of game interruption, bets remain valid if the interrupted game is the game with the most goals/points. Otherwise, all bets are refunded.

Season H2H

Bets on the team or participant that achieves the highest final position in a competition. Play-Offs are excluded, unless otherwise specified.

Qualification/Winning a Trophy

Bets on qualifying for the next round or winning the trophy. Bets are evaluated according to the results announced by the official event authority. Changes in the score due to disciplinary measures after the end of the league are not taken into account.

Time of First Goal/Early Goal in the Match

The first minute is between 00:00 and 00:59 of the playing time. A goal scored at 28:18 minutes counts as a goal in the 29th minute.

Under/Over and Total

Bets on whether the number of goals/points is Under or Over the selections offered. All Under/Over and Point Bets are settled if the highest available selection has been exceeded, even if the game is later interrupted. If not already done, bets are settled at odds of 1.00.

Winner/Outright Bets

Bets on the winner of a competition or event. Bets on non-starting participants are not refunded.

Trixie, Yankee, Canadian/Super-Yankee, Heinz, Super Heinz, Goliath

These are combination bets with a different number of selections and bets. At least two correct tips are required to win.

First/Last/Anytime Goalscorer

All bets refer to regular playing time. Own goals do not count, unless explicitly stated otherwise. Bets on the first goalscorer become void if the player is substituted on only after the first goal. Own goals are ignored. Bets on the last/anytime goalscorer apply to any player participating in the game. In case of game interruption, bets on the first goalscorer remain valid; bets on the last goalscorer are void. Bets on goalscorers anytime are settled as won if the player has already scored; bets on players who have not scored goals are void and refunded.

Bets on scores two goals or more or scores a hat-trick apply regardless of the time of entering the field.

For More Goals than the Opponent, the bet on the player is refunded if the player does not participate in the game.

3. Special Rules for Sports and Sidebets

3.1 Football

All Match Markets are based on the result after 90 minutes of playing time (full time), including injury time, but excluding extra time or penalty shootouts. For friendly matches without an official association, settlement is based on the actual result at the end of the game, regardless of whether the full 90 minutes were played.

Extra time includes planned playing time between the end of regular playing time and the end of the game, but does not include penalty shootouts. Live Bets on extra time are settled according to the official statistics for this period.

Postponed or abandoned games are treated as Non-Runners, unless they still take place on the day of the originally planned start. A game interrupted before the expiration of 90 minutes is void, unless the governing body announces an official result. In this case, Match Winner and Double Chance markets are evaluated according to the official result; all other markets are void, unless they have already been evaluated.

Changes of venue maintain bets as valid, as long as the home team is still designated as such. In case of a change of the home and away team, the original bets are void.

Settlement of bets is primarily carried out based on the statistics of the official sports association. If these are not available or are demonstrably incorrect, Betkick statistics or official Betkick data sources are used. For statistical markets for which the provider Opta collects data (except corners and cards), its data is used for settlement.

Promotion and Relegation Bets are valid after the teams are placed at the end of the planned playing schedule. Bets are void in case of modification of the official competition rules during the competition.

Handicap Bets (3-Way) are evaluated by factoring the handicap into the actual result.

Half-Time Result Bets are void if the game is interrupted before half-time.

Half-Time Full-Time/Second Half Bets do not count extra time or penalty shootouts. All bets on the 2nd half refer exclusively to this period.

Match-Related Special Bets (for example, Team to Score the First Goal) are settled after 90 minutes of playing time.

Double Chance offers the options 1 or X, X or 2, and 1 or 2.

Total Goals Over/Under Live Bets take into account all goals, regardless of whether they were scored before or after the placement of the bet.

The Team that Goes Farthest is based on the round in which the team is eliminated. Dead Heat rules apply.

Football Statistics include markets such as Ball Possession, Team Goals, Goals Odd/Even, Goal/No Goal, and Total Minutes of Goals.

Injury Time is settled based on the official match report or the time set by the referee.

VAR Decisions are backdated for settlement to the time of the actual occurrence of the event.

Shots on Goal are settled in accordance with Opta definitions.

The betting rule for void for non-starting players in player markets leads to the invalidity of the selection if the player does not play from the start. For Bet Builder bets, the odds are recalculated based on the remaining valid selections.

3.2 Basketball

Match Bets include overtime, unless otherwise specified. In 2-Way Bets, the Push rules apply.

Half-Time/Quarter Bets exclude overtime, unless otherwise specified.

Bets on a player’s performance (points, rebounds, assists, etc.) are valid if the player participates in the game. In case of non-participation, the bet is cancelled.

The First Player to Score Points/a Three-Point Shot must participate in the game when the first points are scored.

Winning Margin Bets predict the exact margin of a team.

First to Reach X Points betting markets are void if none of the teams reach the score (2-Way). In 3-Way markets, the “Neither” option wins.

Season Wins/H2H Bets are only valid if 100% of the regular season games are played.

3.3 Tennis

A match is considered started with the first serve. Bets remain valid in case of a change of venue, schedule, or court surface. If a match starts and is not completed, all bets are considered void, unless the evaluation has already taken place or the result is clearly established.

Tournament Winner/Outright Bets are void if the player does not participate in the tournament. The player must have played one point.

Match Winner Bets are void if the game is not played to the end, unless the number of sets to determine the winner is changed.

Total Number of Games/Handicap Games count Tie Breaks and Champions Tie Breaks as 1 game. In case of retirement or disqualification, bets are void, unless the result is already established.

Champions Tie Break is considered a third set, and Set Bets are valued as 2-1 for the winner.

Live Bets on Match Markets, Set Bets, and Point Bets have specific rules in case of retirement, disqualification, or unplayed points/sets.

3.4 Motor Sports

Formula 1/Moto GP bets are settled according to the official classification of the FIA/FIM at the time of the podium presentation.

Head to Head bets require both drivers to start the race.

3.5 Volleyball

If a match is started but not completed, all bets are void, unless the evaluation of the relevant market has already taken place. Points collected during the Golden Set do not count for the match, except for bets on tournament progress.

3.6 Water Polo

All Match Bets are evaluated for regular time (4 periods of 8 minutes). Overtime and Shoot Outs are taken into account for markets such as Match Winner 2-Way.

3.7 Handball

All bets are set for regular playing time, excluding overtime, unless otherwise specified.

3.8 Beach Volleyball

If one of the named players changes before the start of the game, all bets are void.

3.9 Futsal

All markets are set for regular time. Overtime and 6-meter penalties are taken into account for the evaluation of the Qualification and Trophy Winner markets.

3.10 Athletics

3.11 American Football

The final result includes overtimes. In 2-Way bets, the Push rules apply.

3.12 Baseball

The final result includes extra innings. Starting Pitchers are not relevant for the validity of the bets. For Total and Handicaps, all 9 innings must be completed.

3.13 Ice Hockey

Betting markets include overtime and penalty shootouts, unless otherwise specified.

3.14 Combat Sports (Boxing)

Final results are set based on the decision of the ring/point judges. In case of a draw, all bets are declared void.

3.15 Golf

A player is considered a participant as soon as they have teed off. H2H bets are set based on the lower score.

3.16 Table Tennis, 3.17 Snooker, 3.18 Darts

Specific rules for Handicaps, Set/Frame/Leg Bets, and Totals apply, whereby in case of interruption, bets are void, unless the result is already established.

3.19 Cycling

H2H bets are valid if both participants start the race. Bets are settled according to the official rules.

3.20 Winter Sports

Results are considered valid if confirmed by the competent association, even if events are shortened.

3.21 Cricket

Bets are evaluated according to the official competition rules. In case of a draw and no official winner, Dead-Heat rules apply.

3.22 Rugby Union

All bets are valued, unless otherwise specified, according to the result at the end of the 2nd half (after 80 minutes of playing time).

3.23 Chess

Bets are based on the official match result, determined by the results of all games of the match.

3.24 Badminton, 3.25 Field Hockey, 3.26 Roller Hockey, 3.27 Kabaddi

All bets are only valid for regular playing time, unless otherwise specified, and are settled according to the respective official rules.

Bets are settled according to the official results. In case of non-participation of an athlete/team in a sport/category, the bets are settled at 1.00.

4. Bet Builder

Bet Builder is available on selected markets for selected sports. If a selection is settled as void/cancelled, the entire Bet Builder bet is valued as void. The exception is cancelled options on non-starting players (see 3.1.42), where the odds are recalculated based on the remaining valid selections.

A Bet Builder bet can include a maximum of thirteen selections from a single match. The Cash Out function is generally available but cannot be guaranteed. Bet Builder bets cannot be combined with bonus requirements.

5. Claims and Disputes

Betkick will pursue criminal and contractual sanctions against any customer involved in fraud, dishonesty, or criminal acts and withhold payment to that customer.

We reserve the right to withhold payments and declare bets void if the integrity of the event has been questioned, the odds have been manipulated, or match-fixing has taken place. The decision of the competent sports association is final.

In case of suspicion of a series of identical bets from one person or group, we reserve the right to declare bets void or withhold payments.

For events without an official start time, the advertised start time is considered official. If a bet is accepted by mistake after the start of an event (except Live Bets), it remains valid, provided the final result is not known and no participant has gained a material advantage.
